  • Tuesday, December 29, 2020

The Land Trust for Tennessee last week closed another conservation easement with the Young family protecting 355 acres of farmland in historic Dixon Springs.

The farm is actively cultivated for seasonal rotational crops and adjoins three properties conserved by The Land Trust for Tennessee.

The protection of this farm creates a 1,200-acre conservation block of farms and forestland in Smith and Trousdale Counties, including the historic Dixona Farm, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
