Edwards, John N. (Sweetwater)

John N. Edwards, Jr., of Sweetwater, passed away April 7, 2020 peacefully, after a short illness. John was born April 9, 1954 in Windsor, Vt. His parents were John and Helen (Harrington) Edwards. John was raised in Windsor. He graduated from Windsor High School in 1954. John was an avid sports fan and loved his New England teams and Nascar.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen, both from Windsor, Vt.; his brother, Bruce Edwards, of Claremont, NH.; nephew, Westley Crawford, of Hartford, Vt.; and granddaughter, Kaliah Dearing, of Harrisburg, Pa.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Darlene Edwards (Wilcox), of Sweetwater; sons, Lance Edwards, of Sweetwater and Jeremy Edwards, of Harrisburg, Pa.; and brother, Paul Edwards, of Massachusettes. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Kenda Edwards, of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; grandson, Mitchell Vovakes and wife Meggan; granddaughters, Jayde and Makenzie Edwards, all from Vermont; granddaughter, Kennadie Edwards, of Mechanicsburg, Pa.; granddaughter, Kali Davidson, of Wormleysburg, Pa.; great-granddaughter, Ivy Vovakes, of Vermont; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
