  • Tuesday, September 22, 2020

The New Mountain Opry will open this Saturday at 6 p.m. at its new location at the (MACC) Mountain Arts Community Center. The center is at 809 Kentucky Ave. on Signal Mountain.

The Opry will meet every fourth Saturday at this location.

Two bluegrass bands will perform and then there will be an open session for those who want to perform on stage. There will be picking rooms available for those who want to "jam" as well as ample space outside for groups to jam.

This months bands are Mountain Cove and Train 145.

Due to COVID-19, some limitations are in place.  Masks must be worn inside the building. Temperatures will be taken at the door.  The auditorium will be limited to 50 attendees.

A $5 donation will be received at the door.  The performance will be streamed on Facebook on the Mountain Opry page and the Mountain Cove Bluegrass Facebook page.
