What A Fabulous Weekend For Car Enthusiasts

  • Thursday, October 21, 2021

A grand tip of the hat to all those who had a part in making this past weekend a spectacular success for car enthusiasts. The Chattanooga Motorcar Festival, the Mecum Auction, the riverfront races, the West Village display of automobiles ranging from vintage classics to the $100 million collection of Ferrari’s offered something for every automotive enthusiast.  What fun!

Why, I even spotted the old TVA electric Volkswagen bus that my father-in-law, TVA engineer (retired), Hamp Barnett used to drive.

Thank you, Byron and Ken DeFoor, the Fifty Plus Foundation, Grand Marshall Corky Coker, and all of the many sponsors and the army of volunteers who made all of this possible.

Let’s do it again next year.
