Lawrance Oliver Westfall, 59, of Chattanooga, died on September 29, 2021.

He was born on April 29, 1962, in Tryon, North Carolina. Lawrance attended McCallie High School and studied at Baylor during the summer, then graduated from Notre High School in 1980. He attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, with a B.S. degree and other studies in Education, Banking, and Law Enforcement. He belonged to the ATO Fraternity; he also qualified for Mensa. Lawrence was an Eagle Scout, with two Palms, the Order of the Arrow, and eventually became a Boy Scout Executive.

He attended and was a member of Concord Baptist, Brainerd Baptist, and Christ Church Methodist.

Lawrance enjoyed sports and was active in swimming at the Chattanooga Y, McCallie, and Notre Dame. He played soccer at Notre Dame, in the Summer League, and in the State All Stars. He participated in cross country and ran track at McCallie, where they went to State Championships, and Notre Dame. Lawrance played rugby in the adult league and basketball in the church league. He played baseball in the summer league and the church league.

He loved to do caricature portraits for friends. Lawrance was great at karaoke and sang in Chattanooga, Hixson, Atlanta and Marietta; and he loved to send messages on Facebook. Lawrance was a big UT Football fan. He was active in the Porsche Auto Club and loved Porsche Road Races, where he often placed first or second place in competitions.

He was the vice president of a large Atlanta bank, where he wrote government loans for small businesses. Lawrance was a car salesman in Chattanooga and Cleveland. Lawrance worked at the Business Development Office, Speedway LLC., and was a manager of an apartment complex. He was a security guard with Volkswagen, Tennessee Security Guard and River City Security and Investment.

Lawrance is survived by his mother, Paula B. Westfall, his uncle, Robert Lee Westfall; several of his cousins; and many friends.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Lauren Brttany Westfall; his father, Richard Graham Westfall, his brother, Darryl E. Westfall; his grandmothers Mamie Leila Baumgardner Baisch and Leola Bess Westfall; his grandfathers, Rev. Paul M. Baisch and Leland Westfall; his uncles, Jim A. Westfall and William Westfall, his aunt, Carol E Baisch, his great-grandmother, Georgia Belle Cohea Baisch,; and his great-uncles, Homer T. Baumgardner, J.C. Baumgardner, William Baumgardner, and Pearly Baumgardner.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6, in the funeral home chapel.
