Tom Schreiner Named Club Manager At McLemore On Lookout Mountain

Tom Schreiner has been named club manager at the McLemore golf course and resort on Lookout Mountain.

Mr. Schreiner has over 30 years’ experience in operations in both profit and nonprofit industries. Since 2004, he has served as the director of business operations at Covenant College on Lookout Mountain and has been responsible for all auxiliary businesses of the college, including food services, summer conferences, property rentals, guest cottages and laundry services, among many others. 

He also has extensive experience in golf, playing and coaching at the highest amateur levels. He has played competitive golf since he was in college and in 2019, he qualified for the U.S. Senior Amateur where his oldest son caddied for him in Raleigh, N.C.

Officials said, "His experience in each of these areas will serve him well as he will be responsible for the continued refinement of McLemore’s golf, dining, event and membership experiences and developing a wide range of additional outdoor activities for guests to experience during their visit."

Mr. Schreiner and his wife, Sandi, have been married for 35 years. They have four children and two grandchildren, with one more on the way.

They are very active in their church, serving in various capacities and remain deeply connected with friends made there for the past 30 years.
