Randall Scott "Randy" Goins Sr., of Chattanooga and Spring City, Tennessee, went to his eternal resting place on April 23, 2021.

Randy was a loving husband, father and brother who loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest.  He loved to play practical jokes on all he knew and many have been the recipient of his notorious gag gifts.  Randy loved the mountains and spent much of his later years in and around the Smoky Mountains.

He was a proud "Ridgedale Boy" and graduate of Central High School and Cleveland State Community College.  Randy served in the U.S. Army and was the founder of RG & Associates and a founder of The Fallen Soldiers Memorial on Lee Highway.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Glen Goins; mother, Betty Goins Jackson; and grandson, Troy Williams.

Survivors are his loving wife, Linda Burgess Goins; son, Randall Scott Goins Jr.; daughter, Terri Williams (Troy); son, Tim Jolley (Nikki); grandchildren, Megan Williams, Wade Jolley and Annslea Jolley; and great-grandchild, Colden Lusk.  Randy’s surviving siblings are Glenda Foster; Darlene Brown Schimpf; Ernie Goins and Janet Hillis Reimann.  He is also survived by nephews and nieces that were lucky enough to have him support and attend all their activities with enthusiasm.  He will be dearly missed.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. on Wednesday at Chattanooga National Cemetery with U.S. Military Honors.
