Valerie Copeland Rutledge Would Make A Great School Superintendent

  • Tuesday, July 20, 2021
It was sad news to hear of Dr. Johnson's recent decision to leave our local school system.

I know she won't do it, but I have always thought Valerie Copeland Rutledge would make an awesome leader of the Hamilton County Schools. We deserve someone of her character and trust to continue what Dr. Johnson has given our county. His achievements are remarkable, and I would really like to see someone from within our system to carry on.

Spending wasted money looking for someone all over the country may not always be the best answer.
The best answer is hiring someone who has a vested interest and a genuine love for the children of this county.

So, in my personal opinion, if Valerie won't do it, please hire from within.
