Fort Oglethorpe Resident Dies At 95

Frances A. Ferriss, 95, of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 16, 2021.

Mrs. Ferriss is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Jack Ferriss; several brothers and sisters; and a granddaughter, Jeannette Yaryan.

Survivors include a son, David Alan (Donna) Ferriss; daughter, Carole (Randy) Yaryan; grandchildren, Randy (Sami) Yaryan Jr., Janeane (Elvis) Humes, Janelle (James) Hill, Janaye (Jordan) Grow, and Jordan (Katelynn) Yaryan; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 30, 2021at 10:00a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Brother Bill Beagan officiating.

Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 30, 2021 from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
