McKamey is hosting a "Clear the Shelter" event Saturday, September 18, 2021, with extended hours 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Adoption fees are waived. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are also welcome.

Here you can meet Hunter, a four-year old male staffy mix.

He loves to play with tennis balls and has lots of energy. Come in to learn more about him and meet him as well as Eloise, a one-year old tabby, who is very sweet and likes to "talk".

Come meet these furry friends and other adoptable animals at McKamey Animal Center. Due to COVID-19 restrictions masks are required.

An adoption application can be filled out at https://www.mckameyanimalcenter.org/adoption. On the day of your appointment go to the Adoption entrance and ring the bell, someone will assist you. If you have questions, call 423 305-6514 or email adoptions@mckameyanimalcenter.org

The center is at 4500 North Access Road in Chattanooga, and its hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Thursday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
