Senor Jesus Chavarria Solis, age 99, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022.
He was born June 23, 1922 in San Jose De Reyes, Durango, Mexico.
He is preceded by his first wife, Maria Fraire de Chavarria; second wife, Joyce Chavarria; son, Oscar Chavarria; granddaughter, Maria Cristina Cervantes; mother, Cristina Solis; and father, Francisco Chavarria.
He is survived by his loving children, Efrain (Herlinda) Chavarria, Socorro (Felipe) Chavarria, and Jose (Lucia) Elazar Chavarria; grandchildren, Jose Baudel Chavarria, Maria (Alfred) Luisa Chavarria, Tirso (Alma) Chavarria, Anival Chavarria, Vanessa (Luis) Guerrero, Ivan (Carol) Chavarria, Esgardo (Celeste) Chavarria, Adamarys Chavarria, Jose Luis Cervantes, Melissa (Roberto) Cervantes, Felipe (Danielle) Cervantes, Jr.; daughter in law, Edelmira Cervantes; and numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
Religious service will be Monday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 968 Haig Mill Lake Rd, Dalton, GA 30720.
Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 23, from 3-7 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home.
Interment will be at West Hill Cemetery.
