Sandra M. Scott King, 44, of Decatur, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Sweetwater Hospital.

Sandra was a member of Freedom To Worship Baptist Church of Philadelphia, TN. She was a special friend to the CDA (Cleveland Darters). She was a friend to all she met. She loved helping with Toys for Tot’s (CDA).

Perceded in death by her mother: Mary M. Lones Scott, grandparents: Walter E. and Mary E. Ledford Lones, mother-in-law: Mary Sue Monroe King; sister-in-law: Kathy King Lamb, brother-in-law: Calvin Ray King.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years: William (Andy) King, father: Charles T. Scott, father- in-law: Johnny Cecil King of Riceville, sister and brother-in-law: Martha (Sevastian) Ramirez of Sweetwater, sister-in-law: Diane Desgranges of Riceville, brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Johnny Richard and Shiela King of Kasas, MO, special niece: Alyne Desgranges, many nieces and nephews and other extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Decatur Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Rev. Jimmy Maddox and Rev. Jeff Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Meigs County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Scott, Justin Chrisman, James Lones, Eddie Scott, Eddie Walden, Walter Sitzler, Richard Derrick, Wayne Scott, Jonathan Kimbrough.
