Drain The Wamp Swamp - And Response (2)

  • Wednesday, December 7, 2022

I thought it would take at least two years, but it’s taken just two months for me to say:

“Drain the Wamp Swamp”!

Every day for two weeks, the Wamps have been the lead story on the news and in the paper about their childish actions concerning the county attorney and Budgetel.

It’s time for both of them to get to work on what we elected them for - running the county and fighting crime. Instead, Mayor Weston Wamp is looking for a fight and Hamilton County DA Coty Wamp is tossing families out on the streets.

Grow up and get busy.

Our county mayor has gone too far with his outrageous tantrums. He's acting like he's "back in middle school: If you don't give me what I want, I will take my ball and go home."

Getting his finance folks, along with the county's auditor, involved in his shenanigans is going too far. It shows his immaturity.

I voted for him because I always support young folks stepping up to the plate, but he has disappointed me with his zest to win at all cost attitude, no matter who he hurts/ destroys in the process.

He should be counting his lucky charms that his position is in the county rather than in the city because the recall petitions would already be in circulation.
