Josephine Boyer
Josephine Elaine Boyer, 81, of Chattanooga, passed away, Wednesday, December 7, 2022.
She worked for UNUM for 29 years. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, and entertaining her family and friends. She enjoyed worshipping at New Covenant Fellowship Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Noble Boyer, and her mother, Charlotte Elaine Gott.
Survivors include her sons, John Boyer (Rita) of Ooltewah, Bryan Boyer (Clarissa) of Ooltewah; daughter, Jody Boyer Elmore (John) of Woodstock, Ga.; granddaughters: Jessica Boyer Ledbetter (Chad) of Chattanooga, Kayla Boyer of Dallas, Alyssa Park (Nathan) of Knoxville, and Krysta Boyer of Ooltewah.
Visitation will be from 12–2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10, at Lane Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home, with Bryan Boyer officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
A memorial service will also be held at The Morning Pointe of Chattanooga in the Activities Center at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan’s Purse.
