Total Wresting Entertainment In Red Bank Promotes Family-Friendly Wrestling Events

  • Thursday, May 26, 2022
When Sports Illustrated announced that the fourth season of Uncharted Territory was underway, local wrestling fans were excited to learn that not only was the event being held for the very first time in the South, but was being held in Red Bank. The popular weekly series airs live at 8 p.m. every Monday night until Aug. 1 from the Total Wrestling Entertainment Arena.

Jaden Newman, a native of Red Bank and an independent pro-wrestler himself, is the owner of TWE at 4825 Dayton Blvd.
in Red Bank.  He was elated when Independent Wrestling TV approached him in housing Uncharted Territory, an internationally live streamed event, at TWE.

Total Wrestling Entertainment was originally opened by Mr. Newman’s grandfather, James “Grandbud” Higdon, in 2013.  Mr. Newman and his wife, Cheyenne, took over the operation in the summer of 2020.  During that time, they have witnessed an incline in fan base growth with every event held, especially from mid-2021 and on (post COVID) with the various partnerships, the promotions that run in their venue and now with their ever-growing viewership online, largely because of IWTV.

The Newmans are proud to provide a local venue to promote true family-friendly wrestling events on a weekly basis. To ensure fans of all ages are welcome, the Newmans have posted their mission statement for TWE on their Twitter page: “No hate speech, slander, homophobia or racism.  We do not make fans uncomfortable to be fans at TWE.”

Their arena has gained the reputation as being a popular launching platform, helping to transition upcoming wrestling stars to the national stage. This Saturday, “The Final Stop” match will be featured prior to the big “Sink or Swim” match on June 11, which will be streamed live on IWTV for TWE proper for the first time ever. The Uncharted Territory matches will also continue to be livestreamed every Monday night until Aug. 1.  For fans that would like to be part of the live studio audience at any event at TWE, ticket prices for the various matches range between $10 and $15. Season tickets are also available.

“The ‘next step’ for TWE Chattanooga, in my opinion,” said Mr. Newman, “is to continue producing compelling, family-friendly and entertaining live events for our community and abroad.”
