Janice Taylor
Janice Kay Taylor, 62, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late Jesse Russell Thompson and Willene Virginia Collins Thompson and was preceded in death by two brothers, Ballard ‘Buddy” Thompson and Michael Thompson.
Janice loved crafting, singing and dancing. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her dog “Annie”.
She was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her loving daughter, Vanessa Thompson, of Ooltewah, two sisters, Mary Pritchett (Randy), of Chickamauga, Ga., Deborah Newman (LeBron) of East Ridge, brother, James “Jimmy” Thompson, of Lafayette, sister-in-law, Kay Thompson and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 3, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Rev. Ken McElhaney officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1–3 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
