Iconic Moments, one of three global NFT marketplaces focused on museums and cultural institutions, announced that Connor Tarter has been hired as head of Brand Marketing. The company is headquartered in Baton Rouge, with offices in Austin and Chattanooga.
Most recently, Mr. Tarter was the director of Marketing and Communications at United Way of Greater Chattanooga.
Previously, Mr. Tarter led the marketing and communications teams at the Louisiana Technology Park and Research Park Corporation in Baton Rouge. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Louisiana State University.
Mr. Tarter’s addition to the team sees Iconic Moments expanding its executive team as the company prepares for its first NFT drop later this summer. Mr. Tarter is based in Chattanooga.
“Iconic Moments is thrilled to have Connor onboard to help us navigate the rapidly evolving media landscape,” said Chris Cummings, CEO and creator of Iconic Moments. “Connor’s expertise in marketing and communications will be a valuable asset to our team – all of whom are experts in their respective fields themselves.”
Iconic Moments is the United States’ first NFT marketplace for the 450,000 museums, archives and cultural institutions worldwide. Iconic Moments’ platform enables consumers to discover and collect Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs) from their favorite cultural institution. Iconic Moments creates and markets NFTs to help institutions engage new visitors and develop revenue streams outside of foot traffic.
