Greg Callaham Graphic Design, a Chattanooga design firm, announces it has received national recognition for creative excellence in advertising design. Mr. Callaham captured five American Graphic Design Awards from Graphic Design USA, a nationwide trade publication, for his work on behalf of out-of-home advertising customers CADAS, Fluhman Outdoor Media, Sisson Outdoor Advertising, Visual Outdoor Advertising and Vector Media. The award-winning ads appeared across the United States as billboards and bus graphics.
This marks the 14th consecutive year Mr. Callaham has earned the prestigious awards since starting the company in 2009.
The ad for CADAS, which appeared in Chattanooga, featured mountain climbers representing the challenges and helping hand relationship embodied by CADAS. The Fluhman Outdoor Media ad featured a shark as an expert on dental health and appeared in Texas. An ad for Sisson Outdoor Advertising in Blue Ridge displayed a largemouth bass in a Santa hat for a local marina. The campaign for a health and beauty spa ran in the Blue Ridge and Murphy areas on Visual Outdoor Advertising billboards. The bus wrap ran in Orlando and featured menu items from a local restaurant covering the entire vehicle.

Sometimes it’s tweaking their vision in an unexpected way, sometimes they turn me loose with the proverbial blank sheet of paper. Either way, I get to do something I love, execute my craft to the best of my ability and make the customer happy.”
The editors of Graphic Design USA, honor the outstanding work of creative professionals in the graphic arts community each year. To win an American Graphic Design Award means the entry is recognized as some of the best and brightest among thousands of entries from graphic design firms, advertising agencies, in-house corporate and institutional designers, publishers and other media across the United States, in over 20 categories from print and packaging to internet and interactive design. Of approximately 10,000 entries, only a highly selective 10 percent receive recognition for creative excellence. This year marks the 60th Anniversary of the American Graphic Design Awards.
