JPMorgan Chase Welcomes Caroline Walker To Commercial Banking Team

JPMorgan Chase Commercial Banking has hired Caroline Walker as an executive director and relationship executive for its Middle Market Banking and Specialized Industries business to help deliver financial solutions and strategic guidance to companies in Chattanooga.

Officials said, the MMBSI team helps companies succeed at every stage of growth through tailored solutions including credit and financing, digital banking and payments, treasury and merchant services, international banking and more. Within MMBSI, dedicated teams of specialized bankers are built to serve key industries like manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, retail, and others. Bankers also partner closely across Investment Banking, Asset Management, and Private Banking to serve businesses and business leaders’ holistic banking and finance needs.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Caroline to our team in Chattanooga,” said Cristian Anghel, market executive for MMBSI at JPMorgan Chase. “Her unique experience, local knowledge, and passion for the community, will help us further serve businesses across this growing region.”

A native Chattanoogan, Ms. Walker’s journey to banking is anything but ordinary. After singing, acting, and dancing her way through Girls Preparatory School, she continued down a musical path to Florida State University and then the New School in New York City where she received her BFA in Musical Theatre.

Between performing and auditioning in NYC, she held positions in retail and hospitality. She also joined the New York Junior League where she served on the Fund Development Committee – fueling a passion for working with organizations to help them get the resources they need to grow and thrive.

Since returning to Chattanooga, she’s taken on various roles within business development, marketing, and commercial banking. She worked in development at both Girls Preparatory School and McCallie School. She then became the director of Marketing and Business Development at Torch (Lamp Post Group) before joining the FSG/Atlantic Capital team as a commercial banking officer. Most recently, she served businesses in the Chattanooga, Cleveland, and Ooltewah markets as part of Pinnacle Financial Partners.

Ms. Walker currently serves on the boards of The Tivoli Foundation, Chambliss Center for Children, AVA, Friends of the Public Library, and Bright School. She has also served on boards of the Junior League of Chattanooga, Jordan Thomas Foundation, Heart Ball Chair, Chattanooga Ballet, Rotaract, and Little Miss Mag. She has been named for 20 Under 40, Chattanooga's Women of Distinction, as well as a participant of Leadership Chattanooga and Leadership Tennessee classes.
