Florida Atlantic Ends Vols' March Madness Hopes, 62-55

Florida Atlantic had a big second half to end the Tennessee Vols' March Madness hopes on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. The Owls won 62-55 after Tennessee led 27-22 at the half.

Florida Atlantic advances to play Kansas State in the Elite 8.

Tennessee shot just 33 percent from the floor and connected on only six of 23 three point tries.

The Owls ended with a 42 percent field goal percentage after warming up after intermission.

Olivier Nkamhoua, who led in the dismantling of Duke, scored only six points against Florida Atlantic - none in the first half.

Josiah-Jordan James and Jonas Aidoo were the only Tennessee players in double figures with 10 each.

Zakai Zeigler could only watch from the bench in his hometown of New York City after just coming off ACL surgery.
