Zachary Brian "Zach" Durham, 31, of Hixson, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2023.
Zach was born to Richard and Shawn Durham on January 24, 1992. He graduated from Soddy Daisy High school and was employed by Tru-Coat Powder Coating as the shop foreman.
Zach was a hard-working and loving son, brother and friend that devoted his life to the people that he loved. He enjoyed music, playing the guitar, fishing, cornhole, darts and boat rides with friends and family. Zach was a man of strong character and had an exceptional sense of humor. His larger than life and charming personality lit up every room that he entered. Those who knew Zach will remember him for his kindness, endless jokes, and eternal smile. He made an impact on many lives and will be forever missed.
Zach was preceded in death by his mother Shawn Durham, uncle Roger Wayne Willis, and paternal grandparents Carl and Cora Durham.
He is survived by his father Richard Durham, sister Ashley Durham, grandparents Alan and Sheildia Scheer, significant other and love of his life, Amber Higgins, her parents Ron and Donna Rathman, uncle John Gonzales and wife Deidra, aunt Susan Prior and husband Harold, aunt Carolyn Moore and numerous cousins.
He will be greatly missed by his many friends, especially his devoted lifelong friends Garrett Cody, Jared Glenn, and Miranda Thornhill.
A celebration of Zach’s life will be held on April 30, 2023, at 3 p.m. at the Chester Frost Pavilion on 7989 Causeway Road, Hixson TN 37343. Family and friends are invited to come and share fond memories and stories.
