The Chattanooga Lookouts could not overcome a five-run sixth inning by the Montgomery Biscuits in their 9-4 loss.
Montgomery kicked off the scoring in the second inning on a Mason Auer RBI double and a Heriberto Hernandez RBI double. Chattanooga tied the game up in the bottom of the second when Daniel Vellojin hit a 402-foot two-run home run.
The home team took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the fourth on a Jose Torres sacrifice fly. After surrendering two runs in the second, Lookouts starter Thomas Farr fired off three straight scoreless innings in his home debut. In the sixth Montgomery chased Farr out of the game with three hits. They finished that inning by plating five runs, making the score 7-3.
Jacob Hurtubise led off the bottom of the seventh with a triple and scored on a sacrifice fly, but the Lookouts offense wasn't able to get any more runs across. Montgomery added one more in the eighth and one in the ninth to make it a 9-4 ball game.
