Jerry Summers: Facilitation Roles

  • Wednesday, January 24, 2024

Because the recent revelation in Choo Choo City’s largest surviving newspaper on Sunday, January 21, 2024 contains reported legislation that the lobbyist for the Super Stadium (TW) who also counsels the Chattanooga Lookouts owners, the landowners of the Pristine Property that was bought for $1.00, and Choo Choo City has brought up the ugly suggestion that there might be a “conflict of interest” issue that may be discussed at the church tabernacle on S. Broad Street on Thursday night January 25, 2024 this definitive supplement is necessary.

The CEO of the lucrative trio of clients that he represents allegedly stated that his firm was merely serving in a “facilitation role” making it “digestible” for the general public.

Therefore to make the term more tasty for the 185,000-385,000 residents that might have an interest in the projects for the next 30 years that are under discussion the “general public” is referred to Google and the resulting articles are under “facilitation role.”

(A series of articles ranging in number from 3-8-11 that define the term is provided for informational purposes and any conclusion as to whether there may or may not be a conflict of interest between the parties and public interest is beyond the scope of this article.)

One definition states that “a facilitator plans, guides, and manages a group event to meet it’s goals.”

To facilitate effectively you must be objective and focus on the group process. That is the ways that groups work together to perform tasks, make decisions, and solve problems.”

A description of “8 Roles of a Facilitator” leadership strategies are described in some detail under the following captions:

  1. Guide;
  2. Bridge builder;
  3. Praiser;
  4. Taskmaster;
  5. Motivator;
  6. Clairvoyant;
  7. Peacemaker;
  8. Active listener

(Said emergency release prior to the 5:30 public meeting is made to ensure a productive meeting and not to express an opinion as to whether a conflict of interest exist between any parties.)
