After two seasons with USL Championship side Indy Eleven, goalkeeper Tim Trilk is returning to Chattanooga for the 2024 season, pending league and federation approval.

Chattanooga fans will recognize Trilk from his previous experience with the team. Trilk played with the Chattanooga Red Wolves in 2020-2021, becoming a club staple and fan favorite during his two years in the Scenic City while leading the team to its first playoff and semi-final appearances. Trilk ended his first stint in Chattanooga with 21 appearances including two playoff appearances in his final season. He made 41 saves at 66.1% accuracy and finished tied for sixth in the league with five clean sheets. Trilk’s performances garnered the attention of USL Championship clubs, ultimately seeing him land at perennial contender Indy Eleven in the 2021 offseason.

Trilk went on to play two seasons with Indy Eleven during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. Trilk
made 14 appearances in 2023 and 15 appearances in 2022 for the club and registered 88 saves across two seasons with nine clean sheets. He ended the 2023 season with a 73.3% save percentage and was sixth in USL Championship league in least goals against per 90 minutes with 1.07.

When asked about his return to the club, Trilk stated, “I’m beyond excited to be back with the club. Chattanooga has become home for my family and I, and we’re all excited to be
representing the Chattanooga Red Wolves again in 2024.”

“Tim brings great value and experience to our club," says General Manager & President Sean McDaniel. “He has a deep connection to the city and people of Chattanooga which we value highly. As a keeper, he brings tremendous ability as a shot stopper and a leader. He rounds out our goalkeeper core bringing a lot of quality and competition to our group.”

Additional player announcements will be shared on the club’s official social media and website as the 2024 roster continues to grow. The Red Wolves begin the season on Friday, March 15th on the road against Lexington SC and will host Union Omaha for the home opener on Saturday, March 30th. Season tickets for the upcoming season are on sale now and can be purchased at the event or online.
