I was so disappointed with the recent decision of the jury in the Tyre Nichols case. All five of the officers involved need to be convicted of murder and anything else they are charged with. This is by far and away one of the worst cases of police brutality and disregard of humanity I have witnessed.
They were picking that poor guy up from the ground and holding him up to be pummeled again and again, then kicking him while he was on the ground, zero mercy! That video was so disturbing to see and realize those are men charged with protecting the public but instead viciously attacking this poor guy like a pack of wild dogs.
That's what they deserve, zero mercy.
Thank you to all the good cops that are the majority but these need to pay heavily for their inhumane behavior. Hopefully going foward the juries will give these animals what they deserve.

Sam, the only difference between the murder of Tyree Nichols is it was all caught on video. In fact, police video set up to catch the criminals. And that it did! Just not the ones most imagined.
However, what happened to Mr. Nichols isn't at all unique to these cops who committed a most heinous act of violence against one of their own, nor is it isolated. It's not even new, but is timeless. Dating back decades and longer, even.
GQ public, politicians, supreme court have themselves to blame. By basically giving so much power over life and death to mere mortals with very little if any a lack of accountability. Then going after anyone who attempted to shine a light on what was really taking place. I know from personal experience.
Be it Memphis cops, a Chattanooga cop assaulting a member of the military home on a short leave with his wife at the time, also member of the military scheduled to be deployed to war. Who was a member of the same Air Force Special Operations unit another Airman from Florida, who was recently gunned down and killed at his apartment by a Florida cop. The murder of Elijah McClain, Colorado. It can be found just about anywhere across the nation. It's a malady and stain on the nation that can't be downplayed to an isolated incident in Memphis, committed by a group of thug black cops. They come in all shapes, sizes and colors. You only jumped on it because the cops are black. Otherwise, like so many others in the past, you'd just as well been silent or supportive of the cops.
And don't insult animals. Animals have more compassion. What humans do for fun or, as the Chattanooga cop told the S.O. Airman home on leave, "Because we can!" Animals. Animals normally only attack when hungry, sick, injured or threatened.
If not for their own police video recording in real time, the murder of Mr. Tyree Nichols would have been covered up too. In fact, they tried.

Three of the officers still face State charges in the killing.
