Vickie Swiger
Vickie Lynn Swiger, 70, of Cleveland, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at a local hospital.
Vickie was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of DAR and enjoyed learning about her family history. She enjoyed trips to the beach, Pigeon Forge and the North Georgia area for her family reunions. She was an avid Tennessee Vols fan and a great friend to many people.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Bonnie Davis, and her father and mother-in-law, Robert and Jane Swiger.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Swiger, her son Chad Swiger and his wife Kaitlin, the loves of her life, her grandchildren Lauryn Swiger, Cali Swiger, Winnie Swiger and Roy Swiger, all of Cleveland; her two sisters, Mary Frances Healan of Benton; and Milteen Green (Jerry) of Cleveland; one sister-in-law, Janet Smith of Chattanooga; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22, at Companion Funeral and Cremation Services, 2415 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, Tn.
