Ernestine Catchings Seay
Ernestine Catchings Seay, 74, passed away on January 25, 2024 in Long Beach, California.
She was born on April 20, 1949, in Chattanooga and was a 1968 graduate of Howard High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Anna Catchings, brother, James Catchings, and sister, Wilie Mae Powe.
She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Rodney Peterson, grandchildren, Rochelle and Duke Peterson, sisters, Lee Hawkins and Janette Richie, brother, Robert Catchings, nieces, Tracy Catchings, LaTanya Alverson, Stephanie Smith and Leha Hawkins and Annette Catchings; nephews, Antonio High, Ronald Wigfall, Jr. and Robert Catchings, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27, at Forest Hills Cemetery.
