Carl Andrew Evans
Carl Andrew Evans, 57, also known as “Butch”, passed away on February 25, 2024, at a local hospital.
He was born January 8, 1967, to Carl Amos Evans and Wilma Emmalean Ratliff.
Carl attended school in the Georgia Public School system. He worked as a plant operator for Gold Coast Commodities in Chattanooga for many years. He loved singing, fishing, dancing, camping, and spending quality time with his family.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Amos Evans; two stepfathers, Johnny B. Johnson and Ronald Ratliff.
He leaves to cherish precious memories, his wife, Angela Evans; his mother, Wilma Ratliff; two sons, Joshua Pate and Derrell (Kayla) Evans; two daughters, Whitley Love and Aleasha Love; and four sisters, Samantha Brown, Kyle Johnson, Tiffina Johnson and Johneatha Brown.
A 2 p.m. celebration of life memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 3, in the chapel of the John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., Chattanooga, Tn. 423 622-9995.
