2024 Chattanooga Heart Ball Celebrates The American Heart Association’s 100th Birthday

  • Thursday, March 14, 2024
The 2024 Chattanooga Heart Ball brought hearts together to "save lives and strive for equitable health for everyone living in Hamilton County and surrounding areas."  With more than $714, 630 raised, funds will support the life-saving work of the American Heart Association to fight heart disease and stroke including blood pressure and food insecurity initiatives.

“The Heart Ball marks a special moment in time to reflect, honor and celebrate the progress made through the dedication and passion of all who support the Heart of Chattanooga.” Said Emily Niespodziany, executive director for the American Heart Association.
“We are grateful to our Co-Chairs Dr. Chris and Tracie Lesar, the Executive Leadership Team, our wonderful honoree family and all the volunteers who helped make the celebration possible. It was surreal to stop and reflect on 100 years of impact. As we look to the second century, I’m more hopeful than ever and excited for what’s ahead.”

Vascular Institute | VIC Vein Clinic served as the Platform Sponsor for this year’s event with Dr. Christopher and Tracie LeSar serving as co-chairs. The 2024 honoree was Davis Allred and his parents Brent and Rachel. They were joined by host of the evening, Garry Thurman, and over 450 local guests who enjoyed musical entertainment by the dynamic Young Hearts Band.

"Gratitude is the heart's language, and we extend our sincerest thanks to the American Heart Association and their extraordinary team for orchestrating a truly remarkable Heart Ball. Your dedication to the cause of heart health is commendable and life changing. As we celebrate this year's success, remember that our journey towards a healthier future continues. Let's join hands, hearts and minds to support the AHA's vital mission, and together, let's make every heartbeat count. Thank you for your unwavering commitment and continued support of the American Heart Association,” said Ms. LeSar.
