Officers were dispatched to Walmart after a cat became stuck in the engine of a Walmart employee’s car. The Humane Society was called to handle the matter.

East Ridge requested a K9 on a traffic stop in the 4100 block of Ooltewah Ringgold Road. K9 Krino was deployed and alerted officers to the presence of narcotics. A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of narcotics, scales, and a pistol.
While conducting a neighborhood check in the 9600 block of Mulberry Gap Way, officers discovered an open car door. Officers made contact with the homeowner who advised that nothing looked out of place and the car door was secured.
