A single-family detached home residential subdivision is being planned at Hixson Springs Road by Roberts Mill Road.
Rocky Chambers, civil engineer, told the Planning Agency, "We are hereby applying for rezoning the property located in Hamilton County from A-1 & R-5 to A-1 PUD.
"While development is allowed in the current zoning, we are aiming to create a more creative community while preserving the natural beauty of the properties concerned. An A-1 PUD will help us create a new development with more attractive open spaces and safe circulations.
"In addition to the multiple open spaces in the project, we are proposing 185 single-family homes. Adjacent properties are zoned A-1.
"Our intent is to harmoniously integrate our development while preserving the existing natural value and beauty of the property."
