My Morning Prayer

  • Sunday, July 14, 2024
This Sunday morning I walked and prayed for our nation but also reflected personally on my role as a citizen of this special place known as America…..so I prayed “Lord, I know you are sovereign and I am a feeble human.  I am sad and confused by all that we see in recent days but no matter what, please use me as an instrument of peace and unity, not division and conflict”.

As the sun goes down on another day lived in freedom,  I pray that our better angels will prevail in the coming weeks so that we might extend what Ronald Reagan called “a shining city on a hill”  to the next generation to enjoy as we have.  May God bless America and her people.
