Re: Senator Bill Hagerty's statement: “He should resign and stop endangering the nation and stop risking the security and well-being of the American people." That's a line straight from Hermann Göring.
I've supported Hagerty in the past because he appeared one of the few decent that still remained of his party. At least Democrats are addressing an issue. Republicans with a far greater one need to do the same.
President Biden doesn't need to step aside from his present position.
He's not "placing the nation in danger." He's doing the honorable thing by stepping aside and not seeking re-election.

So many grinning Democrats were reading scripted praise of Joe Biden for doing the honorable thing or committing a selfless act by withdrawing.
What a difference a day makes. Since July 13, party elites ramped up their calls for him to suspend his campaign and party elites were freezing millions in donations if he remained on the ticket. They were in fear if he did it would cause great harm to their down ballot candidates.
Now their line is “Joe’s this great hero.” This is fake admiration given the fact that until the debate debacle these same people were gleefully playing along with the hoax. Vice President Harris praised Joe’s legacy. It’s actually “open borders, double digit prices on necessities and a years' long hoax.” They hope you forget these as they spin their newest fantasies.
Joe may get the last laugh however. This man that pretended he was sharp and clear just endorsed Kamala Harris and is pushing Rep James Clyburn, D-SC to lead his coalition to do the same. That may be Joe’s gotcha moment to the inner circle of admiring Dems for being so eager to put him out to pasture.

I'll state the obvious: If Joe Biden is unfit to run for a second term, he's unfit to be President now.

To Brenda Washington: always appreciate your comments, sincerity and interest in honest dialog. Please keep sharing your wisdom and perspective. But please enlighten me as to when/where/context you found the quote the TN Senator "copied" from Reichmarhall Goering. \
Searched on google but no quotes except for Senator Hagerty. Then I used the chatGPT AI search engine which I quote, "It seems like you might be referring to a quote or sentiment related to the actions or attitudes of a Nazi figure or regime. The quote you initially mentioned, 'He should resign and stop endangering the nation and stop risking the security and well-being, (of the country)' does not appear to be a direct quote from a Nazi figure. If you have a specific quote or context in mind, please provide more details, and I'll do my best to assist you."
Sounds like something Stalin would have told Beria who would then make the person referred to disappear.
