Louise "Nannie" Boatfield, 70, of Chattanooga, died Thursday evening, Dec. 4, 2003, in a local hospital.

She was the widow of Robert Lee Boatfield; and sister of the late Hazel Touchstone and W. A. Wooten.

Her parents were W. A. Wooten Sr. and Ella Cole Wooten. She was a member of the Church of God faith.

Mrs. Boatfield is survived by four sons and their wives, Bobby and Brenda Boatfield of Trenton, Ga., Eddie and Elaine Boatfield of Chattanooga, John and Denise Boatfield of Chattanooga, Randall and Trigger Boatfield of Higdon, Ala.; daughter, Brenda Boatfield of Chattanooga; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Edith Whatley of Chattanooga, Eloise Chamblee of Summerville, Ga., and Barbara Shields of Ocala Fla.; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mark Beavers officiating.

Interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday and Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
