Erlanger recognized 18 nurses Monday, Feb. 17 for completing their Clinical Ladder, a professional development program that provides advancement and financial opportunities for those nurses who desire to stay in clinical practice to expand their professional role.
Wanda Blakemore, RN, Donna Campbell, RN, Victoria Cox, RN, Cindy Farmer, RN, Eloise Garland, RN, Stephanie Gilbert, RN, Linda Henning, RN, Courtney Humphreys, RN, Toni Karimian, RN, Sandy Kuffrey, RN, Angela Lewis, RN, Tammy Lewis, RN, Jen Hulsey Moore, RN, Cherry Parker, RN, Jill Rimmer, RN, Diana Thacker, RN, Renee Wright, RN and Cheryl Yeoman, RN received Clinical Ladder pins for their hard work and dedication to Erlanger and their patients.
The Erlanger Health System Clinical Ladder was developed to improve patient care, increase job satisfaction and to provide additional nursing education.
Some of the many programs the nurses were involved in throughout the year were the development of educational tools for patients and their loved ones, submitting manuscripts to accredited journals, teaching various family, peer, or interdisciplinary support groups and volunteering for various Erlanger fundraisers and special events.
