Ryan Martin Cain, 23, died Monday, Aug. 15, 2005, at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA.

Born in Gainesville, GA, July 22, 1982, he was a son of Walter Lamar and Debra Hunt Cain.

He was a graduate of Ringgold High School, Ringgold, GA, and attended Berry College in Rome, GA. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he received his degree in business finance. Ryan was employed by International Paper Company at the corporate office in Stamford, CT.

He was a member of Brainerd Hills Baptist Church in Chattanooga.

He is survived by his parents of Andalusia, AL; brother, Jonathan Lamar Cain of Atlanta; maternal grandparents, Bill and Elizabeth Hunt of Newton, NC; and paternal grandparents, Lamar and Lauranette Cain of Ware Shoals, S.C.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Ware Shoals, S.C., with Dr. Richard Mason and the Rev. Jeff Clark officiating. Burial will be in Oakbrook Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Michael Everett, David Frazee, Eric Anderson, Brett Parish, Tyler Patterson, Jake Kellerhals, Jarod Cone and Eric Stroud.

The body is at Blyth Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Greenwood, S.C., and will be placed in the church at noon on Friday.

The family is at the home of the grandparents, Lamar and Lauranette Cain, Highway 25 in Ware Shoals and will receive friends at the church from noon-1:30 p.m. on Friday.
