In observance of the Christmas Day and New Year's Day holidays, there will be no CARTA bus or Downtown Shuttle service on Friday, Dec. 25, or on Friday, Jan. 1. All CARTA buses will run the regular weekday schedule on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. All CARTA services will resume the regular Saturday schedule on Saturday, Dec. 26 and Saturday, Jan. 2.
There will be no CARTA Care-a-van service on Christmas Day. On New Year’s Day, CARTA Care-a-van will be operating a holiday schedule only. CARTA Care-a-van will operate the regular weekday service on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
The Lookout Mountain Incline Railway will be closed on Christmas Day. The Incline will be open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
