Javaris Lebron Richard, 22, died on October 8, 2010 in a local hospital.
His survivors include his fiancée, Carla Rivers; children, Joshua Lebron Richard and Ja’ni Lynn Richard; parents, Kevin L. and Ramona Richard; brother, Nigel J. Richard; sisters, Missy Taylor and Jamie Lee Anderson; grandparents, Mose and Lee Gurther Whitfield, Ga.; Ronald and Hollis Jacoway, and Dennis Sannder of Tennessee; uncles, Keith L. (Trina) Richard; Ronald Jacoway, Tennessee; aunts, Penny McCoy “PenPen”; Ebony Jacoway; Vita (John) Glover; Carleen Whitfield; Norma Jean McCoy; very special cousins, Frank Johnson, Courtney McCoy, Dave Willingham, Quinton McCoy; bff, Daniel Fairbanks; special family friends, The Melvin and Johnson families.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 14, at noon, in the chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
