Jo Ann Clowers, 68, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, December 14, 2012 in a local hospital surrounded by her family. 

She was a wonderful homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Jo Ann loved taking care of her family.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Clowers; father, Ed Saynes; mother, Wilma Hawk; brother, Wilburn Saynes and sisters, Barbara Hoodenpyle and Michelle Saynes.

Survivors include her daughter, Tina (Keith) Farris; sons, Anthony (Jane) Clowers and Marty (Linda) Clowers; grandson, Christopher (Mandy) Clowers and great grandson, Micah Clowers; granddaughter, Debra Maynor and great granddaughter, Reanna Alexander; sisters, Cathy (Ben) Dollmont, Stella (Jerry) McBryar; brothers, Kenneth Saynes and Jimmy (Pat) Saynes; sister-in-law, Dianne Saynes; brother-in-law, Raymond Hoodenpyle and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park. 

Visitation is Monday, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m., and Tuesday, after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
