Betty Donaldson
Betty Blevins Donaldson, 76, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012.
She was born Feb. 12, 1936, to the late James M. and Minnie W. Blevins of Moulton, Ala. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading and sewing. With her very friendly and outgoing personality, she never met a stranger.
She is survived by her daughters, Vickie (Michael) Ledford, Alice (Ed) Donaldson Reisman; sons, Grady (Debbie) Donaldson, David Donaldson; grandchildren, Rebecca (B.J.) Bishop, Meredith (Matt) Boyd, Kay (Doug) Raymond, Matthew Donaldson, Brandon Donaldson, Jessica Donaldson; and former husband, Winford Donaldson.
The family wishes to express its gratitude to the wonderful staffs of Hospice of Chattanooga and NHC Healthcare of Chattanooga for the loving care they provided.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 29, at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
