World War II Veteran Was A Mason For Over 50 Years

Ralph E. Frazier, 92, died on Friday, January 11, 2013.

He was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. He was a veteran of World War II. He proudly served his country and always said he was proud he helped preserve our freedom.  He was a member of Red Bank Masonic Lodge # 717 for over 50 years.  He was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Alhambra Shrine. He was very active in Masonic activities until his health began to decline. He was retired from DuPont.

He was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Moore Frazier, his parents Lillie and Grover Frazier, three sisters Clara Geddie, Willie Brooks and Anna Jean Brooks, and three brothers Ezra Frazier, Robert Frazier and Jimmy Frazier.

Ralph is survived by his son, Edgar Frazier and wife Carol, daughter, Hilda Jones and husband Jimmy, granddaughter, Joanna Lasiter of Ft. Worth, TX, grandsons, Adam Jones and Allen Frazier, six great-grandchildren, and special friend Jean Barger.  He is also survived by four sisters, Edith Floyd, Ruth Page of Trenton, GA, Edna Roberts and Monnie Smith of Farber, MO, two brothers, G. C. Frazier and Pat Frazier and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 13, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, at the North Chapel. Burial will be in the Hamilton  Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Ralph’s memory to the Scottish Rite Children’s Shoe Fund.

Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home Crematory and Florist, North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, TN 37343.
