Rossville Couple Killed In I-59 Wreck; 3-Year-Old Airlifted

A Rossville couple was killed in a crash on I-59 north near the I-24 split Saturday afternoon.

A three-year-old girl, Teyan, in the back seat was airlifted to Erlanger Hospital, but was expected to be released.

The victims were Raul Alberto Fletes, 28, and Michelle R. Fletes, 27.

Witnesses said the couple's Dodge Charger was traveling at a high rate of speed before slamming into the rear of a stopped tractor-trailer.

The wreck happened about 2 p.m.
