April Renee Porter, 36, of Summerville, Georgia, died on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Porter was born Feb. 15, 1977, in Werzberg, Germany, the daughter of Jimmy Blalock and Ann Lovell Hawkins, and she was formerly employed with Dollar General Store.
Survivors include her husband, Billy LaDon Porter, daughters, Ashley Nicole Porter, Baylee Cole Porter, father, Jimmy Blalock, mother and stepfather, Ann and Curtis Hawkins, sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Caleb Case.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Barry Peppers officiating with interment in the Lyerly Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jason Quarles, Cody Cromer, Caleb Case, and honorary pallbearers will be the Hays C.E.R.T. Team.
Mrs. Porter will be in state at the Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from noon on Tuesday, until the service hour.
