DAR Honored Veterans At Sunday's Market

The five chapters of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Chickamauga, Nancy Ward, Chief John Ross, Judge David Campbell and Moccasin Bend, manned a table at Sundays Market to honor veterans and active duty personnel. A display honored the Viet Nam, Korean, and WW II soldiers. 

Flag codes, Wreathes Across America information, patriotic pins and stickers were all available to the shoppers. Many veterans were given a KISS by the ladies. It was a Hershey’s kiss with a small American flag stuck in it.

There were children and adults carrying larger flags as they shopped.  the veterans were thank for their service and the sacrifices they made for our country.
