The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga wrestling team is headed to the Navy Classic this weekend. The Mocs are one of 13 teams represented in the individual tournament. Action begins at 10:00 a.m. (E.D.T.) on Saturday, Nov. 23, in Annapolis, Md.
Projected session times begin with the preliminary rounds at 10:00 a.m., followed by the semifinals at 2:30 p.m. The finals are set for 5:00 p.m.
Teams participating in the tournament include the Mocs, along with Brown, Bucknell, The Citadel, Cleveland State, Franklin & Marshall, George Mason, Kent State, Navy, Ohio, Princeton, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
The Mocs are 4-3 overall after a pair of wins over Life (50-3) and Shorter (35-7) last weekend. UTC also has wins over Cumberland (W, 42-3) and Hofstra (19-14). Two of their three losses have come against ranked teams, including No. 8 Wisconsin (37-3) and No. 17 Virginia Tech (27-10). The other defeated was against Rider (17-19).
