County Commission To Take Applications For Juvenile Judge March 11-20

The County Commission will take applications from candidates for appointment as Juvenile Court judge from March 11-20, Chairman Larry Henry said.

The appointee will replace Judge Suzanne Bailey, who is stepping down at the end of April.

Chairman Henry said the commission will hold public interviews of the contenders on April 3 at 1 p.m. He said additional interviews will be April 4 if necessary.

The selection will be made on April 11.

Those expressing interest thus far include Juvenile Court Magistrate Troy McDougal and attorneys Curtis Bowe, Rob Filyaw and Ron Powers.
