Beverly Ann Reynolds, 82, died peacefully on October 15, 2014 at a local hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Julius and Bernadette Bartek, and brothers, Father James Bartek and John Bartek.

She is survived by her husband,  Dr. Jack Reynolds; her siblings, Donald Bartek of Colorado Springs, Sister Barbara Bartek, Sinsinawa, Wi., Father William Bartek, Omaha, Ne., Mrs. Kay Wajdak, Carslbad, Ca., her children, John Reynolds, (Karen), Dr. Tom Reynolds (Barb), Jim Reynolds (Susan), Dan Reynolds (Courtney), Sue Lyman (John), Steve Reynolds (Melanie), Katy Ingvalson (Craig), and her 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Beverly was born and raised in Omaha, and earned her college degree from Duchesne Academy, Omaha, Nebraska. In 1955 she married her loving husband of 60 years, Jack Reynolds, who was completing medical school at Creighton University. After the birth of their first son John in Omaha, their next 10 years were spent moving to Naval bases in Oakland, Ca., where Tom and Jim were born, St. Louis, where Dan was born, and finally Portsmouth, Va., where Sue, Steve, and Katy were born. Having completed Jack's Naval service, they settled on Signal Mountain. Beverly continued serving as an amazing mother and wife while Jack, along with two other partners, began his medical career forming The Plastic Surgery Group.

For the next 48 years, Beverly raised her children, was a devout Catholic, led the choir at St. Augustine Church for many years, enjoyed the Signal Mountain Garden Club and lived life to the fullest. She has always been referred to as “the life of the party" and touched the hearts of everyone she met. “Bevo’s” radiant smile and beautiful blue eyes will always be remembered, along with her loving and graceful personality. She will be missed by all.

The family will receive friends from 9:30-11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the St. Augustine Catholic Church on Signal Mountain followed by a funeral mass and interment. A lunch/reception will be served in the Parish Hall.
