Charlene Miller Plemons, 78, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, died on Thursday, October 23, 2014.

She was born in Sweetwater, Tn., to the late Charlie Ray and Agnes Presley Miller and was a member of Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga.

Charlene graduated from Chattanooga State with her A.S. degree and later retired from North Park Hospital where she was a CPT coder.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Peggy Jo Miller, William Austin "Moto" Miller, Tommy Miller, sister-in-law, Susie Miller, and husband, JamesPlemons.

Survivors include her son, Robert Dewayne Scudgins of Chattanooga, siblings, Eddie Miller of Chattanooga, Sue (Joe) Anderson of Sweetwater, Rosemary McDonald of Fort Oglethorpe, sister-in-law, Ann Miller of Red Bank, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26, in the chapel with Reverend Barry Wilks officiating. Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, and prior to the service Sunday at the funeral home.
