East Ridge Needs Mayor Brent Lambert

  • Saturday, November 1, 2014
I have lived in East Ridge for most of my life, and I don't remember a time when we've had so many positive retail and development projects taking place.  I believe this is a transformative time for East Ridge.

At the forefront of this activity is the Jordan Crossing/Bass Pro Shops project.  Obviously, no one person can take sole credit for this project, but there is one person who has played a key role in each step that led us to where we are.  That person is Mayor Brent Lambert.  He lobbied numerous state staff members and elected officials to make sure that East Ridge assembled the land needed at Exit 1 and received designation as a "Border Region" district in order to tap into state incentives.

Clearly we should be proud of and thankful for Mayor Lambert's leadership.  Mayor Lambert believed in the project from day one, and he backed it up with real action.  He has both the vision and the type of leadership ability that will help this city reach new heights.  I'm proud to vote for Mayor Lambert again.
