Ooltewah racer Riley Hickman piloted his # R1 "Hickman Manufacturing, American Billett, Mayo Racing Components, Tucker Mobile Home Service, VP Racing Fuels, All Star Graphics, RH Designs" sponsored Vic Hill powered CVR Super Late Model to an $11,000 Victory Lane at Duck River Raceway Park just South of NashvilleSaturday.
The annual "Deep Fried 75" saw Hickman lead all laps, start to finish, which included holding off former National Late Model Champion Dale McDowell of Chickamagua, Ga., in the process.
Indiana's Steve Casebolt, was third with Josh Putnam and Anthony Burroughs (both from Alabama) finishing fourth and fifth.
Hickman will attempt to wrap up his second consecutive Southern All-Star series title next Friday with the season-ending "Gobbler" event at the Cleveland Speedway. For more information follow Riley Hickman Racing on Facebook.
